For multimedia journalist Ismael M. Belkoura, reporting is a passion first and a career second.

The native Texan graduated from the University of North Texas magna cum laude in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Digital and Print Journalism and minors in French and political science. Ismael is currently a graduate student at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, specializing in Politics, Policy and Foreign Affairs.

The child of two immigrants, Ismael speaks Spanish and French fluently. He has additional experience in photography, multimedia editing, data analytics and video production.
